The JACQUES Initiative (JI) is a program of the Institute of Human Virology (IHV) at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM). In addition to our clinical services, we offer HIV and Hepatitis C (HCV) testing, prevention, education, linkage to care and supportive services through our Community Outreach Program and HIV Support Services.

Face Your Fierce is a space of celebrating the beauty and strength of transgender women and other transfeminine folks from the inside out. Face Your Fierce events are part resource fair, part support group, part beauty class, and all-around a place for trans women and people of transfeminine experience to be their strongest, healthiest, fiercest selves.
